C3 was the longest running generation from 1968-1982. The 1973 might have been close to the bottom of the malaise trough in terms of performance. But this is a one year model. The only year with a urethane front bumper and the chrome bumpers on the rear. The iconic hourglass shape with a nose in the future and the gorgeous chrome rear hanging on to the past.
New 5 mile an hour safety bumper was sleek and chromeless.
C3’s Iconic Vette design was the longest running generation.
